Refractive Caustics Made With Blender's Geometry Nodes

3D Artist hemigon demonstrated a neat caustics effect made for a Nodevember project.

3D Artist known as hemigon, who specializes primarily in procedural animations and simulations, has shared an insightful breakdown that will explain how to push your water simulations to the next level. This time, the artist demonstrated how to generate refractive caustics using Blender's Geometry Nodes, sharing the workflow and showcasing the nodes that were used for the project. According to the author, this neat effect was set up for Nodevember's Oceanic Wonder project, attached below.
