Returnal Developer Housemarque Is Growing Its Team

Housemarque, the Finnish studio responsible for the highly praised PS5 and PC game Returnal, has been expanding in preparation for their upcoming project.

As spotted by Twitter user Zuby_Tech, Housemarque's workforce has expanded from approximately 80 staff members at the time of its acquisition by PlayStation, to 110 workers. As Housemarque develops its upcoming project, the aim is to further increase this figure.

Given the studio's background as an arcade game developer, it will be intriguing to discover what Housemarque is cooking up next. However, one thing we know for sure is that a new Returnal adventure is not on the menu, even though it would be nice to see one given how awesome the first game was.
