Headlight Studio continues the development of their upcoming survival game.
Headlight Studio, a team of five game developers, has released a new gameplay demo of their upcoming open-world survival game Rooted. First announced back in March, Rooted is a multiplayer survival game with crafting, hunting, and building mechanics set in a mesmerizing post-apocalyptic world. The game is being developed using Unreal Engine 5.
The new demo celebrates three months of the development process and showcases all the new features that were added to the game since it was announced. With this demo, the team showed the Locomotion system they built for the game, the basics of the building system, immersive modular environments, data persistence, and lots of minor features designed to make a realistic-looking post-apocalyptic world.
