3D artist tinynocky demonstrated the difference between the number of anisotropic specular strips in a new look at their WIP Isha from Arcane.
"An anisotropic material reflects specular light differently in different directions. If you spin an anisotropic sphere, its specular highlight changes, depending on the direction of the grooves," as Maya defines it.
The artist invites you to choose which version looks better, and if you aren't sure yet, you can see their other works on X/Twitter.
