Senior Animator Shares a Trick to Make Your Animations Feel More Alive

Sometimes, one very subtle change gives you a much better result. Learn how to make your animations come to life with just one simple trick.

Gogan (Go-gan), a Senior Animator, shared on his X/Twitter account a short video showing what seems like a very simple detail in animation that, in reality, makes a huge difference.

The artist shared something that is very true, and that is that every moment needs a response, even if it is an animation; it needs to be believable and coherent.

In this case, you can see that the jump of the character needs to cause a movement in the whole body, achieving a more lively look. Not just moving the model upward.

Gogan (Go-gan) is an artist who shares tips that could help other artists create animations that feel more organic and that could be more appealing to viewers and fans.

He has also shared how adding more movement and suspense can create a more interesting storytelling and animation.

You can check out his social media to see more tips. You can follow him on X/Twitter or Instagram.

And if you want to see more 3D art tips or tutorials, check out some of the Yan Sculpts' videos we have shared, like this one he did creating a 3D character from scratch.
