Seong Gi-hun from Squid Game Recreated in 3D with Maya & Houdini

3D Modeler and Generalist Hirotaka showcased this fantastic WIP take on the protagonist of Netflix's hit series Squid Game, Seong Gi-hun.

The photorealistic portrait was crafted using a combination of Maya and Houdini. The artist masterfully recreated the character's appearance and emotions. Given Gi-hun's haunted expression, the artist aimed to depict him as he appears in Season 2 – no longer naive, but worn down by the dread of everything he's endured.
