French developer Sloclap, best known for Absolver and recently published Sifu, announced on its website that it is looking for a level designer to help the team create a new 3D action game license. Judging by the job opening, the studio is either ready to start developing its next title or it is already in development.
The requirements listed include what can be expected from this type of job, such as experience in game and level design, but it also requires the potential candidate to show an interest in martial arts, so it is much likely that the project will be a new IP with an emphasis on hand-to-hand combat.
Besides, the job description says that the candidate must have a working experience with Unreal Engine 4. Apparently, this engine will power the yet unannounced title.
The most recent studio's game, Sifu, was released in February 2022 on PC, PS4, and PS5, and within three weeks of its release, it has sold over a million copies. The developer also announced that the action beat 'em up title will receive its first major update in May 2022.
