Geoff Keighley, organizer and host of the upcoming Summer Game Fest, has brought us more exciting news by announcing that Slitterhead will have its gameplay world premiere during the event, which will be live-streamed this Friday.
If you're not familiar with Slitterhead, that's not surprising. News about Slitterhead has been sparse since it was announced during The Game Awards back in 2021. However, it has an intriguing background — it's being created by Bokeh Game Studio, founded by Keiichiro Toyama, the creative mind behind the famous Silent Hill series, as well as the Siren and Gravity Rush franchises.

Keiichiro has expressed a desire to create another game like Silent Hill and that's why Slitterhead was created, being Bokeh Game Studio's debut title. Early last year, the studio shared a new piece of concept art from the game and stated that development was nearly complete.
In July of last year, the developers shared a video of Dev Diary, which included some footage from pre-Alpha user tests and gave us a glimpse of a raw combat scene.

There is not much information available about the game's release window or the platforms it will be launched on. Of course, we hope these details will also be revealed during the Summer Game Fest.
