Sky Creator Plug-In For UE5 Will Feature New Volumetric Clouds

Dmitry Karpukhin teased an upcoming feature with a series of demos.

As the latest big update for Sky Creator, a popular Unreal Engine plug-in that allows users to control dynamic weather and time of day, launched in July, Technical Artist Dmitry Karpukhin has started unveiling exciting new features that will be part of the upcoming release.

In particular, Sky Creator will receive new "Multi-Layered Volumetric Clouds," using a Volumetric Cloud component from Unreal with custom material. The developer has showcased some diverse and customizable cloud layers with distance rain, cumulus clouds, and more:
