3D Artist/Animator and Gundam enthusiast known online as Triple-Zeta has recently paid tribute to their beloved series with an incredibly smooth and complex 3D Gundam rig.
Created for a digital model of RX-124 Gundam TR-6 [Woundwort], this rig was assembled in Blender to allow the model's seamless shifts between the mech's spacecraft and combat forms. According to Triple-Zeta, the rig draws inspiration from Metal Robot Spirits, an official line of robot action figures by Bandai, with slight adjustments based on the official settings.
