Smooth Running Animation With Ink VFX in Maya & Unreal Engine

With this project, the author aims to study both animation and visual effects.

Principal Gameplay Animator Martin Chang, also known as TuxedoPato, has recently unveiled an impressive animation offering one more look at his latest project. At the moment, the animation is still WIP, with the author planning to share more in the near future. As such, we highly encourage you to follow TuxedoPato on Twitter so as not to miss any upcoming updates and check out the artist's previous projects, breakdowns, and tools.

And if you'd like to learn more about creating ink VFX in Unreal Engine, we also recommend checking out our recent interview with Aiden Farmer, who showed us the working process behind the black ink scroll effect inspired by Justice Online and explained how he made the phrase appear using UE5's Niagara.
