Snowy Mountain Castle Made with Voxy Plug-in for Unreal Engine

Saeid Gholizade demonstrated what you'll get once the voxel art tool is released.

Imagine if you could easily construct grandiose buildings and detailed scenes using voxels. This will soon be possible with Voxy – an Unreal Engine plug-in developed by Saeid Gholizade.

In the latest update for the voxel tool, he showed what it takes to build a tall castle on top of a snowy mountain. Aside from the simple functionality you expect from such an app, Voxy lets you copy whole sections of a building and paste them wherever you need, ready for some painting work.

You can create endless voxels with an unlimited number of volumes and build voxelized landscapes from height maps. According to the creator, the software supports hundreds of millions of voxels without an issue, voxelizes meshes and images, and can export meshes into Unreal Engine to be used in UEFN. Moreover, you can import files from Magica Voxel, another famous tool.

If this project is not enough to convince you to take a look, check out Dark Souls' Anor Londo recreated in the plug-in.

The app will also support ray casting as well as other useful features. You can see the progress here.

Voxy should be released later this year. Follow Gholizade on X/Twitter to learn more and join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on InstagramTwitter, and LinkedIn, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
