Spider-Man-Style Web Shooter With Geometry Nodes

This probably should've been Deadpool.

Well, maybe let's not share what you'd use that projectile for. This is some great showcase of the power of Geometry Nodes, and it all has to be the fault of Spider-Man: Brand New Day hitting theaters, as we recently featured amsy3d's Spider-Man-style web-shooting setup.

It's actually now available in the form of Arachne, a free and open-source add-on for Blender 5.2 that generates various procedural webs. It also simulates them with silk-like physics on the GPU, including tearing, sagging, sticking, and more. Shoot a web at a wall or push an object through it and watch the web settle and tear realistically.

Mohamed Fayed has impressed us with his Blender projects more than once. Check out his scales, a melting chairCorpser in a jarfish swimming through grass, a clock made of 96 analog clocks, and scroll down to see his latest works:

Cartesian Caramel is also one of his major inspirations, so if you're looking to level up your Geometry Nodes skills, you might want to check out the synthetic muscle printing setup Cartesian Caramel recently released for free. He also shares livestreams on YouTube, where you can follow along with his work, including this Spider-Man-themed setup:
