Stretch Out Your Super Long Arm For Perfect Heists In This 2D Stealth-Comedy Game

My Arms Are Longer Now is Toot Games' new Unity project.

What would you like to do if your arm becomes super long? Getting a chocolate bar in the snack box without having to stand up and walk there, catching a flying bird, or exploring a deep cave where treasures could be hidden?

None of these would be happening in this upcoming 2D stealth-comedy game, My Arms Are Longer Now. Instead, your long arm, which is without bones and retracts like a vacuum cord, is used to stretch out to steal things since you're a thief. "You’ll avoid security systems, steal whatever isn’t bolted down, put a sock on your hand and flirt with a lonely guard - whatever it takes to pull off the perfect heist!"

This indie project was created in Unity by Toot Games, a Melbourne-based team. One developer, Matthew, shared some interesting clips from the game. Through the following two clips, you'll learn the top ten sentences spoken by the ticket inspector and delinquent character:

Well, a question may arise if you'd love to test limits in games: How long is too long for the arm? Matt's attempt ended up with a train cart filled with spider-web-like arm (eww), and he wonders if the limit should be removed to allow it to go forever.

Also, to create a dynamic, moving train effect, the team implemented a "fake animated view" with a beautiful city skyline outside the window. While the truth is that it is a long, stretched-out picture of Melbourne to present the fast-moving vibe:

The release date of My Arms Are Longer Now has not been revealed yet. But if you fancy such a funny game with stealth and heist elements, don't hesitate to wishlist the game on Steam and follow its development on social media.
