Stylized 3D Models of Robert Oppenheimer & Ken From the Movies

Gabriel Soares celebrated July's biggest film releases with a couple of cool new models.

Gabriel Soares, a 3D Concept Artist and Digital Painter widely known for his outstanding stylized 3D character models, has celebrated not just one but two of July's most significant movie releases, Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer and Greta Gerwig's Barbie, by showcasing a couple of impressive new artworks.

The new project, dubbed "Barbie & Oppenheimer", offers a non-photorealistic cartoonish take on Cillian Murphy's J. Robert Oppenheimer and Ryan Gosling's Ken. As usual, the creator utilized a combination of Maya and ZBrush to create the models.

As awesome as it is, Barbie & Oppenheimer is not the first movie-inspired artwork created by Gabriel. Earlier, the artist also showcased cool stylized recreations of Léon and Mathilda from Léon: The Professional, Thor from Thor: Love and Thunder, Neo from The Matrix, Rambo from the Rambo series, Anthony Hopkins' Hannibal Lecter from The Silence of the Lambs, and many others.

It is also worth noting that it is not the first time Cillian Murphy and Ryan Gosling appear in Gabriel's portfolio. In the past, the artist also demonstrated stylized versions of both actors in their arguably most iconic "literally me" roles that require no introduction:

Besides movies, the author also uses renowned TV series as sources of inspiration, with his NPR takes on The Last of Us' Ellie and Joel from HBO's adaptation of the game, portrayed by Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, and characters from House of the Dragon having already been featured here on 80 Level.

We highly encourage you to visit Gabriel's ArtStation page to check out more of the artist's awesome works.
