An interesting WIP project by MagitonArt.

I've never thought I'd see Doom and Pentiment in one game, but developer MagitonArt might make it happen. On a quest to learn Godot, they decided to make a Doom-like shooter in a very nice art style that reminds me strongly of Pentiment and a tiny bit of Borderlands.
This WIP game is based on 15th-century Bohemia and so far doesn't have much to show off except for cool paper-like art, curious environments, and some shooting.

MagitonArt wants to explore both 2D and 3D sides of Godot in this project as well as some sprite elements, animated characters, and 2D weapons. The creator has moved to the 3D side, working on Details in Blender, and it looks great for now.
"I would call Godot a "Blender between engines", there are some things that you literally need to do backwards, but on the other hand, a bunch of the workflows feels way better than Unreal or Unity."

The developer appreciates that you can jump into your project in a matter of seconds, although Godot may be lacking some of the "AAA" features.
