Take a Look at These Stylized Isometric Animations Set in Surreal Istanbul
The artist is creating a game that features the same art style.
3D Artist and Developer Ahmet has immersed viewers in a charming urban world with a retro flair through a series of stylized isometric animations created in an old-school toon style.
Built with Unreal Engine 5, the animations are set in Istanbul and capture the atmosphere of a bustling city. "Exploring memory, architecture, and atmosphere through 3D environments," the artist says, describing the project.
Some of the scenes offer a glimpse at Ahmet's upcoming game, Pera Coda, which features a similar art style. The project is a mystery-driven narrative adventure that follows a man trapped in a purgatory-like state between life and death. To return to his life, he must confront his memories, regrets, and relationships. The game blends psychological self-discovery, a deep narrative, dialogue choices, and point-and-click puzzle-solving mechanics.
