Check out this fantastic hand-drawn setup showcased by 3D Animator まえた. 

The sketch-style animation, featuring a dynamic superhero character, was created using Blender's Grease Pencil. The creator carefully drew the character and the explosion VFX, showing a stunning example of blurring the line between comic book style and 3D.
