Take a Look at This Ink-Painted Subtle Lotus Made with Substance 3D

miao tt showcased this whimsical artwork.

Take a look at this beautiful artwork showcased by a 3D/Material/Technical Artist miao tt depicting a Chinese ink-painted lotus.

The artwork looks whimsical and sophisticated, with refined, half-transparent flower petals slightly moving as if from a light breeze. The combination of pink and grey colors looks fresh and tender, and the refined composition is finished with a subtle yet graphic inscription.

The artist shared some technical details of the creative process. Modeling was completed in SpeedTree, and the wind effect was also added using this software. The textures were made using Substance 3D Designer, and the final rendering was done in Unreal Engine 5.
