The Fold – Ingression Got Its First Gameplay Trailer

1C Entertainment released the first gameplay trailer for The Fold: Ingression – a thriller adventure with Lovecraftian horror elements set in Norway. 

You play as a young temp exterminator at an ancient Eikherad stave church. Find out that nothing is as it seems, gain magical abilities, unearth the dark secrets of the place, and make a difficult choice to protect the world from an ancient evil.

According to the developer Audvyr Studio, Ingression is the first installment in The Fold universe. Developed solely by one of the Through the Woods developers, it's inspired by the Norse culture, old Norwegian legends, and Lovecraft's works.

The Fold: Ingression doesn't have a release date yet; it will be launched on PC and possibly on consoles.
