The Molasses Flood's The Witcher Might Have Co-Op, Class System & Game Modes

The studio is looking for specialists to work on its ambitious project.

There are several The Witcher games in development at CD PROJEKT RED according to its roadmap, one of them codenamed Sirius – a project by The Molasses Flood, the creators of The Flame in the Flood and Drake Hollow. The studios keep silent about the details, but a Reddit user called Awkward96 has found some information on what The Molasses Flood is working on in its job listings.

According to them, the company is looking for specialists, and if the offers are all for The Witcher game, it promises to be a stylized multiplayer game with several game modes, a class system, and social activities. Narrative directors have to be familiar with branching and nonlinear storytelling, and game designers need experience working with procedural generation systems.

The most surprising is the stylized game part (if it is truly about The Witcher), although this might be what CD PROJEKT's CEO Adam Kiciński meant when he said the spinoff is different from anything the studio's released so far.
