Tom Henderson, a well-known insider who often provides exclusive information about the game industry, recently shared details about the upcoming Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon game developed by Ubisoft.

According to Henderson, the new game, codenamed Project Ovr or Project Over, is set to be released in 2025-2026.

It will feature a return to a first-person perspective and focus on tactical battles akin to milsims. Inspired by games like Squad, Ready or Not, as well as the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Battlefield series, the next Ghost Recon installment, Project Over, will center around a fictional war in Naiman. Players will follow an elite special forces group called the Ghosts as they conduct secret missions and uncover a traitor in the war-torn nation.

The game will include dark and controversial missions, such as a scenario where the protagonist's squad mistakenly targets a man holding a child, initially thought to be carrying a bomb.

Adding to that, Project Over boasts enhanced graphics compared to its predecessors and performance comparable to Ready or Not, as reported by the insider.
