The Witcher 4 Won't Feature New Content at Game Awards 2025
It faces tough competition in the form of GTA 6.

The Game Awards 2025 is 2 weeks away, but you won't see any new Witcher 4 content there, despite the game being nominated for the Most Anticipated Game award, along with GTA 6, Marvel's Wolverine, 007 First Light, and Resident Evil Requiem.
Joint-CEO of CD Projekt Red, Michal Norwakowski, thanked all the fans who voted for the project but said that the studio "won’t be bringing any new content to TGA this year, but we’re, as always, excited to watch the show and celebrate this amazing industry’s great night alongside all of you."

If we see another trailer for GTA 6 at the show, I'm afraid The Witcher 4 won't have a chance to overshadow it. Plus, we all know which game will win in the category. So maybe it's best the studio focuses on developing the new Witcher, even if it doesn't know how to top the legendary Witcher 3.
Of course, the big question is who will take the crown of the Game of the Year this time: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Donkey Kong Bananza, Hades 2, Hollow Knight: Silksong, or Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, although the answer is pretty obvious here as well, I think.
