The Game Developer veronicgrk on Twitter/X shared a video showing rabbits panicking when they see a hunter trying to shoot them with an arrow. The animals' behavior makes them look cuter, and it makes you feel bad for them.

Veronika explained in the replies that this is part of a prototype game that doesn't have a name yet. The animation was made in Unity using sprites in a 3D world. The rabbits will poop when they get scared, but at the moment it looks like they're pooping bricks, which also shows a great insight about creating games.

A user asked if the game will be a survival title, and the developer confirmed it, saying that it will be about the player living on a moody kraken and exploring the world around it.

She also mentioned that they were inspired by Don't Starve, Valheim, and Cult of the Lamb. Check out more previews shared by the developer:

Veronika is part of the fluckyMachine studio, which released the ITER-8 game in March of this year. It's a roguelite exploration title where you play as an ITER Corporation's member who has to solve different tasks, but you have to avoid death to not be replaced.
