This Adorable Slimy Character Is Hard at Work Turning Gears

Check out a charming world in a WIP Unity-powered game by Lukas Schneider.

Game Developer Lukas Schneider unveiled this fun animation from his upcoming Unity-powered indie game about fish and slime, showing a little cute character with slimy hands turning huge gears in a creative way.

The setup captivates the attention not only with an original idea but also with a high-quality visualization of the slime material with lifelike physics. Before, Lukas Schneider shared an insightful look into the development process, demonstrating slime experiments conducted with Virtual Method's Obi and a stylized water shader:

The developer has been sharing demos about the upcoming project, an action-adventure fishing mini-game, featuring physics-based puzzles involving fluid simulation. The game, going by the working title Alles im Fluss, is set in an adorable nature world infested with slime, which you need to get rid of to free clear water flows and restore the natural balance. The fish are procedurally generated, which ensures their unique look each time. Check out:
