This Animated Short Film About a Curious Robot Hits You in the Feels
With just three minutes, it makes you want to hug the robot.
SEN is a short film about a curious robot that is on a foreign planet and discovers the crash site of a spaceship.
But, that's not all, because there is also something that looks like a portal, and an old, rusted robot, which tries to stop him from getting close to the portal. The cute robot can't resist, though.
The short film was created by Maxim Gehricke, a Generalist TD, over a period of five years, and he said that "SEN aims to explore our perception of time and age and how perspectives can change."
He also said that creating the crater environment was challenging, making it work in a close-up view and from a distance, but the final result looks very good. It's a brief, 3-minute-long short film that makes you think about aging and being aware of the passing of time.
