Ballgame is an arcade platformer game where you'll be Dolf, a sentient golf ball that will have to smash, bounce, and work your way up through high-level tournaments and then race against the clock in challenges.
"At its core, Ballgame is simple: get from the tee to the hole in as few shots as possible. But can you control the chaos? Try, die, and try again in a frenetic physics playground full of hazards and delights! Set across the hotel's curious locales, every handcrafted course tests your shot with precise platforming puzzles. Discover dozens and dozens of devious holes while you leap in bullet-time, float in bubbles, grind on rails, and die on spikes. Cause mayhem … or just play freaking golf!"
Ballgame is the debut video game from the studio Human Computer, which is based in California. They have shared on their social media part of the creation process for their game.
In this game, everything is about speed. A shifty-eyed magpie will challenge you to a race against the clock, and you will also have to collect pennies that you will be able to exchange for customizations, upgrades, and over 99 balls to discover.
The game is set to be released late this year, but you can already download the demo or add it to your wishlist on Steam.
