This Digital Fidget Box Game Has a Lot of Satisfying Tactile Interactions

Neuron Activation is a puzzle game built around the enjoyment of juggling multiple tasks at once. It plays like a digital fidget box, full of numerous challenges.

You control a futuristic hub full of buttons, switches, and sliders that represent different tasks, which you'll have to complete to get a score; the more you multitask, the higher the score.

The game even has a cat and a dog, Cleo and Duke, that you can pet to earn points and a serotonin boost. Completing the tasks triggers a Neuron Activation, and the board resets and multiplies your score.

It includes over 60 handcrafted levels and a Zen Mode if you would like to play without timers or scores. In January 2026, a demo was released, and so far it has received very positive reviews on Steam.
