Probably Stolen - Cyberpunk Shopkeeper Sim, a "Cyberpunk 2077 meets Papers, Please" from Montreal-based Questing Goose Studio, launched on Steam on October 28 and has already achieved immense success, with 200,000 copies sold.

The sim passed 80,000 concurrent players within 90 minutes of launch, and the peak later climbed to over 86,000. It also ranked second in Global Top Sellers on the platform. "200k copies in the first few hours is nuts," writes Alex Nichiporchik, CEO of tinyBuild, the game's publisher.

According to SteamDB data, the shopkeeper sim still holds its concurrent peak record and has over 64,000 active players. As for reviews, Probably Stolen has a 96% positive rating and over 1,200 reviews.

Probably Stolen's demo already showed prominent results. According to tinyBuild, its demo attracted more than 660,000 players, accumulated a 98% positive Steam rating, and approached 40,000 concurrent users during Steam Next Fest. The publisher also reports that the game collected more than 500,000 wishlists before launch.

Probably Stolen is a cyberpunk shopkeeper sim set on a dystopian space station. Players take the role of a former scavenger who gets a storefront on the station's lower levels. The gameplay is about buying, inspecting, crafting, and reselling goods that may not have been obtained legally. Players can start as a gunsmith, chemist, water merchant, farmer, fence, or a poor shopkeeper with almost nothing.

Customers range from a security officer looking for evidence to a revolutionary seeking leverage and a fallen elite testing the player's usefulness, and every sale carries a risk.
