This Metroidvania Will Have You Playing as a Grandpa Fighting with His Cane
It's a mix of Cuphead and Hollow Knight.
The Eternal Life of Goldman is a fantasy Metroidvania game that has an unconventional hero: a grandpa using his cane as a weapon. You'll have to explore an Archipelago to defeat a mysterious deity.
The game is inspired by ancient fables, fairy tales, and myths; it has a hand-drawn style that reminds you of Cuphead and Hollow Knight. The scenes were also colored and animated using frame-by-frame techniques.

The developers described the game as a challenging platformer that demands precision, but at the same time, improvisation and ingenuity. They also said that it's a game that will encourage exploration and reward it with new skills and artifacts.
