This New Sims Competitor Hit #1 on Steam's Top Sellers Chart at Launch
A great result for a Patreon-funded project.
Within just one day of release, the game achieved several remarkable milestones. According to SteamDB, it attracted over 78,500 concurrent players and claimed the top spot on Steam's Top Sellers list. As shared by the developers, the game also sold 250,000 copies in just 8 hours after launch. It has since accumulated over 2,700 Steam reviews, earning an overall "Very Positive" rating.
What makes these numbers even more remarkable is that Paralives is an indie passion project that has been in development for years, funded largely through Patreon.
Paralives offers a grid-less building system, deep character customization, and, as the developers have said, all future updates will be free.
