Biomass: Extermination is a psychological sci-fi FPS set in a narrative environment where you will explore ruined cities, abandoned underground facilities, military stations, and fight different enemies.
A distress signal leads you to a wasteland that hides many secrets, which you'll have to uncover to learn what is putting humanity at risk. Each enemy will require different fighting strategies and weapons.
"Adapt to any situation using a diverse collection of futuristic weaponry. From rapid-fire assault rifles to powerful experimental firearms, every weapon offers a unique combat experience and adapts to any combat scenario." — Steam Page.
The game also includes interactive mini-games to earn rewards, discover more about the main story, and take a break from combat.
Arif Ismayilov, the game's developer, has talked about some of the hardships of creating a game as a Solo Developer. He told us that the idea started with two questions: "What if the technology designed to protect humanity could no longer be trusted? And what if a soldier's perception became so distorted that humans appeared as monsters?"
The second gave rise to Biomass: Extermination. Ismayilov also explained that he spent countless nights learning everything about level design, environment creation, gameplay systems, storytelling, production, marketing, and project management to create the game he envisioned.
The game doesn't have a release date yet, but you can add it to your wishlist on Steam.
