This Tentacle Monster in Elevator Is Actually Realistic 3D Simulation

Alex Zabei Vorota is way too calm for such an encounter.

Afraid of your elevator ride ending in a crash? Here is another phobia for you: Alex Zabei Vorota presented a tentacle monster so realistic that it's unsettling.

The whole video is actually a Houdini simulation, but this feeling of dread shows how good the artist is at his job. The only issue I have with this footage is how chill the protagonist is in such a dire situation.

The monster was based on the Lovecraftian deity Azathoth, the ruler of the Outer Gods, and the "Lord of All Things." You can also find his child among other horrors on Alex's X/Twitter

Great news for everyone wishing to create their own monster: Alex has a course on making 2D symbiote creatures in Houdini and a series of videos teaching how to set up VFX in the software.
