Indie-us Games, a Japan-based game development studio, has recently shared a new work-in-progress demo showcasing the gameplay of UNDEFEATED: Genesis, the team's upcoming Unreal Engine 5-powered game that promises to offer the ultimate superhero experience.
For those who may not be familiar, UNDEFEATED: Genesis, previously known as Unrestricted, is a superhero action game and a sequel to the studio's 2019 title, UNDEFEATED. In this game, you step into the shoes of an ordinary college student who suddenly gains superpowers and learns to fly. Your objective is to battle enemies in destructible environments and utilize your incredible abilities to save a mysterious planet from a catastrophic blight while assisting the remaining survivors.
Through their recent demo, the developers offered a comprehensive look at UNDEFEATED: Genesis' gameplay mechanics, highlighting the game's vibrant combat sequences, flight animations, visual effects, user interface, and more. Moreover, they addressed some of the burning questions from fans, revealing that the game's release can be anticipated at the earliest in 2025 and stating that they utilize Unreal Engine 5's Blueprints system for UNDEFEATED: Genesis.
