Tips for Sky Atmosphere & Fog from VFX Artist

William Faucher, VFX Artist with experience on Marvel's Black Panther, and HBO's Watchmen and Realtime mentor at Unreal Academic Partner CG Spectrum, shared a tutorial on creating totally different planets using UE4 and UE5.

It is a deep dive into the features of Unreal that allow artist to create the unique atmosphere of the project. In this tutorial you will be guided through the full process to you create your own perfect world. 

In the interview with the CG Spectrum's team William shared his thoughts on Unreal Engine:

"Unreal Engine is certainly at the forefront of virtual production at the moment, there isn’t a single other engine that can even come close to competing with what Unreal offers. And until another worthy competitor comes along to rival it, learning Unreal Engine will be rather quite important."

As a professional VFX Artists with experience collaborating with world known giants such as Marvel and HBO, William has a lot of tips to share with the students and even participated in the development of a unique program for CG Spectrum College called the Realtime 3D & Virtual Production Diploma that is recommended to creatives who would like to kick-start their career as a realtime 3D artist.
