225 people fired, making the future of the studio extremely dark.
Gamasutra first reported that the developers of The Walking Dead series of games Telltale Games were shutting down. It was further revealed that the studio was not closed, but that 225 people were fired. The Verge’s sources say that the staff got no severance packages.
This leaves only 25 employees in the company. In November 2017 the management at Telltale Games fired 90 people.
USGamer has reported that upcoming The Wolf Among Us 2 and a Stranger Things adventure series have been canceled. There was no official statement from the company.
