Ubisoft Announced Its First Blockchain Game Champions Tactics

The game uses the Oasys blockchain.

Ubisoft has announced Champions Tactics Grimoria Chronicles – its first blockchain game. The teaser doesn't offer much information, but here is the game's description:

"Champions Tactics Grimoria Chronicles is a brand new PVP Tactical RPG experimental game on PC currently in development at Ubisoft. Assemble a team of mythical Champions, engage in thrilling tactical battles against other players and discover the legends of the dark and mystical world of Grimoria. Are you ready to write your name in the chronicles?"

Champions Tactics will be using Oasys – a gaming-optimized blockchain that relies on the Proof-of-Stake protocol. Ubisoft will release it on PC "soon" and offer "a free drop" at launch.

This is not Ubisoft's first venture into the field: earlier, it launched a set of Assassin’s Creed NFTs.
