Ubisoft Is Not Going To E3 2023

The company will host its own event.

Ubisoft confirmed its presence at E3 2023 last month, but suddenly it's no longer the case. According to VGC, the company decided to “move in a different direction” and is not going to the event in favor of its own Ubisoft Forward Live show on June 12 in Los Angeles.

“E3 has fostered unforgettable moments across the industry throughout the years,” a spokesperson told VGC. “While we initially intended to have an official E3 presence, we’ve made the subsequent decision to move in a different direction, and will be holding a Ubisoft Forward Live event on 12th June in Los Angeles. We look forward to sharing more details with our players very soon.”

E3 will have its first offline expo since 2019. Unfortunately, we are not going to see many major companies there: Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo are reportedly skipping this year's event.
