August 30 it is then.
Ubisoft has recently revealed a 10-minute gameplay video of Star Wars: Outlaws showcasing several locations and enemies you will face once the game is out on August 30. Unfortunately, the reception wasn't as warm as the company had probably expected. The video collected about 8.8K likes and over 15.8K dislikes.
People in the comments mostly complain about the uninspiring small locations Ubisoft showed, poor performance, a boring quest, and overall lack of polish in the showcase.
"How did they make a cool concept for a quest exploring a dead Sarlacc look like just wandering around a generic cave for a glorified fetch quest," one user said. "A literal galaxy of diverse planets, literally endless creative potential, and they send us back to the planetary equivalent of a manila envelope," added another.

Such response could make Ubisoft think twice before releasing the game on time, but the company said it wouldn't delay Outlaws over this.
"The game has gone gold, so the date is well confirmed for August 30," Ubisoft's CFO Frederick Duguet said during a recent financial call (via PC Gamer). "We'll shortly be seeing more content of very high quality and multiple hours that will really show the depths of the open world that is a key element of the promise to enjoy the exploration of the galaxy with multiple planets, so that should bode well for the game in terms of high-quality delivery."
"As we've said also for Star Wars, the level of quality of the world and the experience is really very high," added Yves Guillemot, Ubisoft's CEO. "We are really leveraging our engine, and I think people will love it."
