UE5-Powered Rain and Flooding Systems Made for a Game

The developers of Trench Tales continue showcasing the development process with a couple of cool new demos.

Today, let's have a look at some of the latest demos shared by the development team behind Trench Tales, an upcoming WWI-inspired third-person shooter being developed with Unreal Engine 5.

While not much is known about the game itself, its release date, or its developers, plenty of details regarding the gameplay and the visual style of Trench Tales have already been unveiled by the creators with a series of stunning demos that provide a look at the shooter's mechanics and newly-added features.

In recent days, the devs showcased the game's WIP weather system and the lifelike rains that can be set up with it, as well as the fluid-based flooding system, which, once complete, will allow the authors to create true-to-life mud pools. Much like the rest of the game, the new systems were created using UE5.
