Uncharted Will Allegedly Get a Reboot not Developed by Naughty Dog

The game will probably be created by a new PlayStation studio.

According to The Leak's sources, the Uncharted series will get a reboot handled by an unknown developer with initial help from Naughty Dog.

This is not exactly groundbreaking news as the rumors have been around for some time now. This unknown developer is probably the new PlayStation studio based in San Diego that was recruiting for "an exciting new project with Naughty Dog in a beloved franchise" in October. We assumed that it was Uncharted back then, so it seems the information is connected to that.

For now, the reboot seems to be in early development, so it's hard to say what exactly we will see. The first game in the franchise Uncharted: Drake's Fortune was released in 2007, and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection came out in October this year.
