Upgrade Maya Timeline with This Advanced Animation Tool
KeyPro stacks four data layers onto a single compact strip.
Long Winter
Working with animation is easy with KeyPro, an advanced Maya timeline that stacks four independently rendered data layers onto one compact strip beneath Maya's native timeline. "Every layer updates live as you work – no dialogs, no flipping panels."
"Maya's timeline, rebuilt from the ground up. Four data layers, production-grade key management, and an animator toolbox that actually understands how rigs work. One price. Yours forever."
- Audio Waveform – Cached RMS waveform rendered per-pixel at any zoom level, which reads Maya's audio node automatically on scene load.
- Key Density – Every keyframe on every selected node rendered as a tick, color-coded by density across a three-stop ramp: blue → orange → hot pink. Spot heavy frames at a glance.
- Heat Bar – A 2px chromatic bar at the top of the strip encodes your current view span relative to the master range. Red means you're zoomed deep in. Blue means you're at full master scale.
- Master Range – A persistent master range lives alongside your scene file as JSON. Cyan markers show start and end. Handles can extend the range for ease-in/out frames.

KeyPro offers a full animator toolbox above the strip, including tween presets, stepped keys, and 8 tools that understand constraint chains, space switching, and rig conventions. Moreover, the developer, Andrew Conroy, who was an animator on Ice Age, Life of Pi, and Love Death + Robots, made sure all your movements feel natural.
"Every interaction is designed to feel like it was always there. Left-drag scrubs. Scroll zooms. Middle-drag moves keys. You'll forget it wasn't Maya's native timeline."
