A couple of days ago, Valve shared a small announcement, proudly stating that they finished all Q3 (July – September) reservations for Steam Deck earlier than it was expected. According to the announcement, the feat was accomplished thanks to increased production, which greatly accelerated the pace and allowed Valve to "beat their own estimates". The announcement also stated that Valve's finishing Q3 earlier allowed the company to get a head start and start fulfilling reservations for the Q4 window (September – December) ahead of schedule.
