For 6 inspiring days this October, the event brought together Academy Award® winners, visionary filmmakers, and industry leaders from Hollywood to Silicon Valley.
This year’s milestone edition welcomed 6,511 attendees from 57 countries, marking a 25% growth in speakers. The 2025 lineup featured over 150 speakers, 76 talks, 22 workshops, 14 panels, and 9 masterclasses, along with portfolio reviews and networking events.
VIEW 2025 continued its tradition of blending creativity with insight. Among the most memorable moments was Doug Chiang, Oscar®-winner and Lucasfilm’s Senior Vice President and Executive Design Director, receiving the VIEW Visionary Award, joining a list of past honorees including Sir Roger Deakins, Ramsey Naito, and Dennis Muren. Doug Chiang also closed the conference with an inspiring keynote "A Life in Film Design.”
"What makes VIEW Conference so successful year after year is the people. Our incredible speakers, who give so generously of their time, their wisdom, and their experience. Our wonderful audience, drawn from all corners of the globe, who spread love with their infectious enthusiasm. Our generous sponsors, partners and patrons, without whom none of this would be possible. Our amazing behind-the-scenes team who work so hard to make the magic happen. Best of all are the breathtaking presentations into which our speakers pour their hearts and souls, showing us their deepest humanity and the immense passion they have for their art."
