Vizmoo Is Looking For an Experienced Unity VR Developer

Get a chance to work with the game's creator and developer, Michael Stauffer, on innovative technology. 

Vizmoo is looking for an enthusiastic, talented game developer who wants the chance to get in early and help develop a cool, immersive VR therapy platform that will help people with their everyday lives. 

You'll be working closely with the game's creator and developer, Michael Stauffer, on innovative technology. Long-term goals include expanding our prototype VR musical sculpture tool into a therapy intervention as well. You'll be the lead developer working on a number of small and larger projects for the game.

Responsibilities:

  • Updates on the XR toolchain;
  • Switch to openXR, menu interaction updates;
  • Graphics code optimizations (mesh structures and rendering, shader);
  • Implementation of avatar tools;
  • Implementation of new gameplay modes;
  • Integration with prototype custom web-app for remote control capabilities (Unity Rendering Streaming, WebRTC)
  • UI coding;
  • Multiplayer capabilities;
  • Design and implementation of an achievement reward system. 

Required experience:

  • 3+ years of substantial professional industry (or very serious hobbyist) experience with Unity3D; 
  • Advanced C# scripting skills;
  • Game logic, state management, data I/O, multi-threading;
  • Strong graphics skills: procedural mesh building;
  • Basic shader competency (HLSL/Cg) at a minimum;  
  • Ability to research and learn new techniques and technologies as needed to support the planning and implementation of project goals.
  • Ability and desire to leave effective comments in code and git commits, including descriptions of code logic.
  • Passion for game development and tidy code.
