LogInJulen Urrutia showcased an impressive model he prepared for an upcoming fan-made Warhammer film.
Julen Urrutia, a Character Artist and Art Director, has presented a lore-accurate and visually impressive 3D version of Warhammer 40K's Servitor, created for an upcoming Warhammer fan short directed by Jon Perez.
Made under the guidance of WH40K lore expert Giulio Marrone, the model was built using ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, and Unreal Engine. While Julen's task was only to model the Servitor, he also created an accompanying environment and a short animation to serve both as a portfolio piece and as a test for the Unreal Engine 5 pipeline. "I tried to go for an 80s-90s horror film style while maintaining a grim 40K look overall," the author noted.
