Wasteland 3 Announced

inXile has announced that their post-apocalyptic role-playing game sequel is set for launch on PS4 and Xbox One, PC, Mac and Linux. Wasteland 3 will feature vehicles, environmental dangers, upgradable Ranger Base and an improved version of action system. Still, the main element is said to be a story-driven synchronous or asynchronous multiplayer. 

Game’s action will take place in frozen Colorado. It is stated that the title will also have better dialog tree system from the writers of Torment: Tides of Numenera.

You play Wasteland 3 as the sole survivor of Team November, a Ranger squad, who has to build reputation from scratch.

You’ll get a chance to play with a friend online, sharing missions. Or you can split up and cover more ground. Players will also get their own upgradable vehicles, which can be used as cover in combat.

Wasteland 3 will be crowdfunded with the help of Fig, the initiative set up by video game developers that allows you to not just back games, but invest in them. The crowdfunding campaign starts next week, 5th October, with a funding target of $2.75m.
