Watch Ball Spinning with Anime Effects Done in Blender

Have you ever wondered how anime artists make moving objects look so dynamic in a 2D space? Blender artist kameinon showed you how this can be done.

In an X/Twitter post, they compared two spinning balls, and they look as if they are moving at different speeds, but no, this is simply a visual trick. 

To make this effect, you need to distort the outline, add lines in the direction of rotation, and apply vector blur.
