Hela: of Mice & Magic is a co-op adventure game that will let you see the world through the eyes of a little mouse. We have been following this title for a while, and now we have a new video showing some of the environments of the game and part of the journey of the mice.

Two years ago, we talked about this game for the first time, mentioning some of the information that was available at the moment. Like the fact that it's inspired by Scandinavian folklore, it has photorealistic environments, and a few of the tasks you will face in the adventure.

A few months ago, we had the chance to have a conversation with Alexander Benitez, the Head of Studio at Windup Games, which is the developer of Hela: of Mice & Magic. He explained that this title is the first project under Windup Games.

He also mentioned that the idea came out of the desire to create something "that celebrates the simple joy of playing – exploring, experimenting, and interacting with the world in a playful way."

The game promises to give players an emotional and intimate experience, reminiscent of childhood wonder, the joy of curiosity, exploration, teamwork, and connecting with nature.

According to Steam stats, the game has over 33,000 followers, and it's the #63 in top wishlists.

Right now the release date hasn't been specified. We just know that it's planned to be in 2026, and you can add it to your wishlist on Steam.
