Check out CHIZ's cool demo and share your ideas.
Game Developer CHIZ recently shared a demo of their gear-building game, currently in the process of defining the core gameplay loop. Right now, the idea is to blend a sandbox experience with a campaign mode similar to Besiege, featuring simple puzzles in each level that don't overly restrict player creativity, plus a limitless endgame inspired by Garry's Mod.
Would you play a game like this? CHIZ is actively seeking community feedback and suggestions to help shape the experience, aiming for a game with moderate complexity.
Here are some game concepts they have in mind:
- Car gearbox;
- Chain and sprocket;
- Huge gears (building size);
- Clock tower;
- Pulleys;
- Rocket attachments (GMod-style)
- Gravity slider;
- Slowmo slider;
- Player constructions with sticks and sheets (physics-simulated, breakable, and react to gears);
- Makeshift beyblades.
